Cookie Notice

Last updated: 12 August 2026

This notice explains how Custodia uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and in the service we provide.

Who we are

Custodia is operated by Ángel Torres Rodriguez under the name Andrew Torres. Operational address is:

Andrew Torres
Keeper's House, Gordonbush
Brora
United Kingdom

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by your browser. They allow a website to remember limited information between requests, including information needed to keep a service secure and maintain a signed-in session.

Strictly necessary cookies

Custodia uses only the following essential cookies. They are required for the service to function and cannot be switched off through Custodia.

csrftoken

This cookie helps protect forms against cross-site request forgery. It is used when a page renders or submits a protected form, including the contact form, sign-up form, and forms in the authenticated service.

sessionid

This cookie maintains a session after you sign in to the Custodia admin. It is also set when the product landing page loads its embedded product showcase: the showcase uses a limited demo session to display preview admin screens. That demo session is not a visitor account login and is cleared before the login or sign-up form is shown. Custodia ends inactive admin sessions after 30 minutes.

Where cookies are used

Product website

The public Custodia product pages, including contact, pricing, and legal pages, may use csrftoken when they render a protected form. Normal browsing does not require an authenticated session. However, the landing page's embedded product showcase uses sessionid for its limited demo session so it can display preview admin screens.

Custodia admin

The authenticated admin uses sessionid to keep you signed in and csrftoken to protect its forms. The 30-minute inactivity timeout applies to this admin area.

Client archive portals

Client archive portals are designed for public browsing and do not require an authenticated session for normal viewing. A portal may use csrftoken if it renders a protected form or another state-changing interaction.

The Custodia product website, admin, and client archive portals may use different web addresses. Cookies are limited to the web address that sets them and are not automatically shared with every Custodia site.

Browser storage used in the admin

The authenticated admin may also use your browser's local storage and session storage. This is not a cookie: it is kept in your browser and is not automatically sent with every request. It is used only for interface preferences and continuity, including theme preference, navigation state, onboarding progress, and returning to the prior scroll position after a popup closes.

No optional tracking cookies

Custodia does not currently use analytics, advertising, marketing, or social-media tracking cookies. We do not use a cookie-consent banner because the cookies described above are strictly necessary. If we introduce optional cookies or similar tracking technologies, we will update this notice and request consent where required.

Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting existing cookies or blocking future ones. Blocking or deleting essential cookies may prevent you from signing in, submitting forms, or using parts of Custodia.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice when our use of cookies changes. Questions about cookies can be sent through our contact page.
